Pascale and Rick always do their utmost to make you feel at home at Hotel Freeland. The hotel is located in the heart of the old city of Amsterdam, on the corner of the famous Leidseplein and other places of interest for both cultural and leisure purposes, such as the Rijksmuseum, Anne Frank's House, Van Gogh Museum, Museum of Modern Arts, casino, shopping area, coffee-shops, bars and restaurants. Public transport facilities are also close at hand. Pascale and Rick welcome you heartily with a cup of coffee or tea and are proud of their ambiance of open-mindedness. Roominteriors and façade were renovated in May and June 2006.

AREA INFORMATION
Hotel Freeland is centrally located on the corner of the colourful Leidseplein. It's in walking distance of all important museums and important sites (Royal Palace, 10 minutes on foot, Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum 10 minutes on foot). The hotel is situated in the old centre of the city, called The Jordaan with its typical Amsterdam bars, restaurants, shops and canals. Direct public transport, boat and parking facilities.

TRAVEL INFORMATION
From Central Station take the electric tram 1, 2 or 5. Get off at Leidseplein (eighth stop). On your right you will see the City Theatre (Stadsschouwburg). Immediately behind the City Theatre a big street goes to the right. This is Marnixstraat. 50 metres on the left is Hotel Freeland. A taxi from Central Station to the hotel will cost you 15 / 20 euros.
