BackStage Hotel, (22 rooms) description: For those guests without a private laptop, we have a free internet terminal at the bar. Staff is there 24-hours to help you with whatever you need. If you play in a band, bring promo stuff, we'd love to hear it. You can upload music to your I-pod from former guests and bands at or computer. Please note that the hotel does not have an elevator, so expect traditional Amsterdam stairs.

Ideally located next to famous venues such as Paradiso, Melkweg, Maloe Melo and Last Waterhole, your entertainment starts at the hotel and flows easily from club to club. Hang out at our fully-licensed private bar for a drink and a game of pool and make use of the free guest computer.

ROOM INFORMATION
All rooms are equipped with an I-pod docking station, British electrical plug and LCD television in addition to the listed facilities. The rooms have been decorated with Flight Case furniture and provide a dressing room mirror. A hair dryer and baby cot are available upon request. Rooms range in size from singles to 5-person rooms, some have shared facilities in the hallway.

AREA INFORMATION
The BackStage Hotel is situated on the Leidsegracht (Leidse canal), in the old city centre. A number of popular venues can be found just around the corner on the Leidseplein: Paradiso, Melkweg, Alto Jazz Club, Maloe Melo, Stadsschouwburg, Nieuwe De La Mar Theater (Reopening 2009) and Bourbon Street. The National Museum (Rijksmuseum), Casino and Van Gogh Museum are just a 5 minute walk away.
